Sales Trading Department

In order to enhance Haitong's core competitive edge in brokerage business, Sales Trading Department mainly focuses on financial products marketing, investment consultancy, investment advisory service  investment consultancy business management, trading management, Hong H share futures and other intermediary services, brokerage business management and promotion, e-commercial platform building and operation, and call-center management.

Investment consultancy

 

  • Providing both A share and H share market information and investment advices through daily SMS, daily investment strategy, weekly strategy for VIP clients, H share investment strategy, weekly trading plan, monthly investment strategy report, and Investment value analysis of open-ended funds; 
  • One-on-one asset management services and series of products for institutional investors and high net worth individual clients through the platform of "Rainbow Treasure Club", by offering specific advices based on individual clients' investment preferences and risk appetites, realtime monitoring of client accounts, and risk analysis or investment recommending in time. 
  • Conducting, administrating and guiding the investment consultancy: providing support of products and services for branch investing consultants, guiding branches in conducting investment consultancy and managing dayly businesses of investment consultancy.

 

E-commerce

 

  • Designing and maintenance of off-site trading system including E-trading system and cell phone securities.
  • Designing and maintenance off-site service system including website and SMS platform
  • Keeping in touch with the third party on E-commerce business

 

Call center

 

  • Covering the whole country with phone services (phone number: 95553), which integrates trading, account and trading check throughvoice service and client representative service. Five Star Certification of China Contact Centre Standard specially for securities sector.
  • Providing multi-channel, all-around, convenient and efficient trading solutions to clients by cooperating with branches, website and client service center.

  • Fully seeking cooperative opportunities with financial and service institutions and organizing marketing activities;
  • Business training and marketing service support for banks, insurance companies and other cooperative partners;
  • Providing innovative products for wealth management business at other financial companies.

 

IB Management 

 

  • Centralized management of marketing, organization, policy and procedure design, training, assistance in opening accounts investor education, complaint dealing, and customers service of IB business.
  • Day-to-day management of H stock business, including marketing, liaison, supersivion, training, performance evaluation and data summarization, etc.

  • Promote strategic cooperation with institutions, including fund management companies, Social Securities Fund, insurance companies; develop innovative business, enhance Haitong’s competitive edge and innovative ability.
  •  Organize distribution of funds, promote marketing activities and guide branches' fund sales in order to enlarge the company's market share and upgrade the services
  • Establish comprehensive service network for fund product sale; Set up safe, convenient and all-around sale channels for fund investors; Provide professional fund sale services. Haitong provides full spectrum of fund distributions to our clients.

  

VIP Clients Services

 

  • Promote cooperation with financial institutions including banks, insurance companies, trust companies, and other investment instutitons; closely follow the development trends of all types of institutional investors and financial products in the securities market; actively create new business by product innovations and service promotion.  
  • Promote equity management services for state-owned asset management authority, national social insurance, enterprise customers and private clients with high net value, as well as creating new models for institutional brokerage business development, so as to enhance economic benefit  and the market share of Haitong's brokerage business.  
  • Facilitate cooperation with financial organizations including banks, trust companies, PE companies and other investment instutitons; promote the extension of sunshine private placement, thus leading the trend of the market by product innovations and service innovations
  • Establish and maintain Haitong's asset custody and management system based on the combination of " Cooperation Platform + Series of Products + Business Promotion ";meet the needs of institutional clients, develop systematical, customized and professional financial products and service, so as to improve the competitiveness for the business of institutional clients.

  

Research Sales

  • Provide research sales services for clients including funds, insurances, and the sunshine private placements and help enhance the market influence of its institute and researchers. Actively integrate the company resources in order to provide all-dimensional research-focused services for funds, insurance, sunshine private placement and other institutional investors, thus to improve the company's influence.
  • Deeply communicate with clients by organizing or coordinating to organize large-scale investment strategic seminars, strategic workshops, telephone conferences, listed companies’s meeting with investors, listed companies’joint research and on-site promotion,etc.
  • Focus on timeliness and sensitivity to market changes in daily communication by the means of phone and e-mail, thus enabling research and investment to play the role of bridge.

 

Margin Trading & Short Selling

Founded in December 2008, the department is responsible for the operation and management of margin trading and short selling with a view to providing investors with services on margin trading and short selling. In March 2010, Haitong was approved to conduct trial margin trading and short selling business, and became one of the first six securities traders gaining the qualification. After gaining trial qualification of conducting margin trading & short selling business, Haitong strives to be among the first ones to obtain the trial qualification for refinancing business qualifications.

  • Being among the first to gain trial qualification, Haitong has the first mover advantage.After conducting margin trading & short selling business, the indicator of the scale of its margin trading & short selling business and the trading volume of that business ranked the top of the industry.
  • With its top-ranking net capital scale, Haitong has capital advantage and supplies of securities advantage . Moreover,Its great financial strength has laid a solid basis for providing margin trading & short selling services. In February 2010, Haitong’s board of directors approved of RMB8bn for its margin trading & short selling business and the company will further invest to expand its business scale with the development of business in future. Currently, Haitong can financing 88 supplies of securities, which is one of the trial securities traders gaining the qualification who can financing the most species. With the underlying range of margin trading & short selling loosing, Haitong will also expand supplies of securities timely.
  • Widely distributed outlets. Haitong has established about 188 branches throughout the country, of which 149 have been approved to conduct margin trading & short selling business.
  • Flexible and simplified business process: The pre-approval model is applied, in which the unsecured credit is granted with the credit line determined by customers’ credit rating, total assets of general capital account and other financial assets.
  • Simplified procedure: A customer’s general capital account shall meet a minimum age and asset size requirement. When applying, customers with a good track record only need provide basic information and relevant information such as financial status. The “Margin Trading & Short Selling” is characterized by “borrowing, using and lending at any time”. The interests or expenses will be collected based on the actually occupied capitals or securities by customers who will not bear any expense if intra-day use of capitals or securities does not constitute any liability at the end of the day.
