Haitong Securities has achieved significant progresses in International Business in recent years. Guided by the company's strategy of "Enhancing international presence, setting up financial holding group", Haitong's International Business focuses on developing QFII, institutional B-Share, cross-border M&A advisory services to build its international network.

QFII is the most important business for Haitong's International Business Department. The QFII team consists of nearly 30 experienced professionals with rich experience in Chinese market and foreign language skills. Haitong Securities has been appointed as local brokers by asset management companies, investment banks and commercial banks from Europe, USA, Asia-Pacific areas to provide trading and research consulting services. By December 2011, the total market cap of our QFII clients amounted to RMB30bn. Haitong ranks the top among local brokers in terms of the number of QFII clients and the size of entrusted assets and trading volume, featuring advanced trading and settlement platform, value-added research consulting service and professional team.

Relying on the integrated competitiveness on brokerage, future business and PE, the International Business Department of Haitong Securities is continuously working closely with overseas strategic partners to carry out cross-border financial advisory business, cross-border M&A, and private equity investment, making full use of our customer network advantages in investment banking, asset management and M&A businesses, and actively exploring business opportunities of overseas listing of domestic enterprises in order to expand overseas business network.
