On the morning of June 25, the 12th Shanghai Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was opened at the World Expo Center. On behalf of the 11th Shanghai Municipal Committee of the CPC, Comrade Li Qiang delivered a report to the conference entitled "Carrying Forward the Great Spirit of Party Founding, Practicing the Concept of People's City, and Accelerating the Construction of a Socialist Modern International Metropolis with World Influence". Zhou Jie, Haitong's chairman, and Lu Ying, head of Haitong research institute, attended the meeting.
